We read a lot of letters complaining about poor customer service but recently I had a very positive experience.

Last week, with very rough weather conditions hitting Malta, I sustained a power cut at my property in Marsalforn.

I tried to phone Enemalta customer care but, not unsurprisingly, I could not get through. Like myself, there must have been hundreds trying to report damages and cuts throughout the islands.

Finally I managed to speak to somebody and he promised they would see to my problem in a short time. To be honest, I was ready for a long wait considering the situation. But, to my surprise, a company van with three men showed up just after 20 minutes or so. Despite the heavy winds and rain, they quickly set up their high-up and ladders and my power was restored in a few minutes.

These days we read a lot of letters complaining about everything, but it is also fair to praise where praise is due. Keep it up!
