A catwalk, brought to life by past issues of Pink magazine on the ground and 30 models wearing designer clothes, was set up at Progress Press in Mrieħel to mark the magazine’s 10th anniversary and the launch of a new magazine – Places: Design & Living, spearheaded by Times of Malta.
Guests turned up at the printing press, which was lit in pink, and enjoyed tailored outfits warmed up by soft, winter fabrics. Geometric make-up and a braided Mohican hairdo by Screen Team Malta complemented the look.
Models showed off the latest creations by Aldo Shoes & Accessories, Armani Jeans, Esprit, F&F, Karen Millen, Liu Jo, M&CO, Marks & Spencer, Miss Selfridge and Tommy Hilfiger.
The backdrop to the catwalk featured recycled pallets with the magazine’s logo spray-painted on.
After the show, the printing machinery was started up and the visitors’ gallery opened for guests to see the newspaper going to print.
The Pink Fashion Show was organised by Times of Malta, in collaboration with Catermax, and supported by Alistair, Chemimart, Dical House, Diet Kinnie, Campari, Lady Million Eau My Gold, Natuzzi, Powwow Station and Renault.
