DEGIORGIO AQUILINA. On November 13, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, ISABEL, née Walker, aged 64, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Joseph, her daughters Krista and her husband Josef and Nicky and her husband Trevor. She will also be deeply missed by her beloved grandchildren Luca, Adam and Seb, her mother Lucette and mother-in-law Carmelina, her brothers Arthur and his wife Helen, Austin and his wife Maria, and Joseph and his wife M’Ann, her nieces Wendy, Sarah and Lara and nephew Ian, her brother-in-law Alfred and his wife Moyra, other relatives in Malta and UK and friends. The funeral leaves St James Hospital today at 2pm for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but a donation to Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group, Rainbow Ward, Mater Dei Hospital, will be appreciated. Special thanks to all the dedicated staff at Boffa Hospital and St James Capua Hospital. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SPITERI. On November 13, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, JOHN of Floriana, ex-RMA, aged 82, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Filomena, his children Louis and his wife Wilhelmina, Mario and his wife Jane, Grace and her husband Roger Xuereb Archer, his beloved grandchildren Christopher, Andrew, Mark, Maria, Adrian, Stephen, and Robert, their fiancés, his sisters and brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
