Graham: Wolves have signed Sunderland striker Danny Graham on loan until the end of the year. The 29-year-old has moved to Molineux after playing just once for the Black Cats this season. He will stay with Wolves until December 31 and will link up with his new club on Monday.

Africa Cup: Equatorial Guinea will host the 2015 African Nations Cup after Morocco was stripped of the event having asked for it to be postponed over fears of the spread of the Ebola virus. Oil-rich Spanish-speaking Equatorial Guinea hosted the 2012 finals with neighbours Gabon but will take on the 16-team event on its own from January17-February 8.

Di Santo: Werder Bremen general manager Thomas Eichin has ruled out selling his club’s top goalscorer Franco Di Santo, saying the player is happy where he is. Di Santo has netted six goals so far this season, attracting plenty of interest from other clubs. Eichin said: “We’re thinking about extending his contract. He’s still got plenty of goals to score for us.”

Rangers: Four men have been detained by police as part of an investigation into the 2011 takeover of Rangers. The men were detained yesterday morning by Scots police working with officers from three English forces. The four are being held as part of a probe into the “alleged fraudulent acquisition” of the Glasgow club.

Vlaar: Ron Vlaar’s agent has admitted the Aston Villa skipper has a chance to make a “big” move in the not-too-distant future. The defender is out of contract at the end of the season and will be allowed to talk to other clubs in January. Agent Arnold Oosterveer said: “It is obvious that for Ron, now is the moment to make a big move in his career.”
