FORMOSA COLE. On November 12, in Sydney, MELITA, widow of Eric, aged 92, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Sylvana and her husband Russell, Claire and Bryan, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brother-in-law Emanuel Bonello, her sister-in-law Ethel Muscat, all her nephews and nieces, great nephews and great nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral takes place in Sydney.
MICALLEF. On November 12, in Victoria, Australia, CHARLIE (Carmelo) ex-Naval Officer, passed away, aged 89. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Nazzareno and his wife Pauline, Paul and his wife Amy, Anthony and his wife Mary, Alfred and his wife Doris, Michael, and Joseph and his wife Doris, all living in Australia, his daughter Carmen and her husband Victor, living in Malta, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Remembered by all his family and friends.
MICALLEF. On November 13,at Mater Dei Hospital, Bro. NAZZARENO (Charlie), aged 80, entered eternal life, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his Carmelite brethren, his sister Rita, his brother Cristinu and his wife Karmena, his sister Theresa and her husband Joe, nephews and nieces and other relatives. Bro. Nazzareno will be lying in state at the Carmelite Priory, Balluta, today between 11am and 1.30pm. The funeral cortège leaves the Carmelite Priory, Balluta, today at 1.45pm for Balluta parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment in the vault of the Carmelite Friars at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
SPITERI. On November 13, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, JOHN of Floriana, ex-RMA, aged 82, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Filomena, his children Louis and his wife Wilhelmina, Mario and his wife Jane, Grace and her husband Roger Xuereb Archer, his beloved grandchildren Christopher, Andrew, Mark, Maria, Adrian, Stephen, and Robert, their fiancés, his sisters and brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2pm for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
