After his days as manager at Chelsea and West Ham, Gianfranco Zola took over the reigns at Watford in summer of 2012. He stayed at Vicarage Road for more than a year before calling it quits on December 16, last year.

Watford went through a bumpy ride as the club bosses were unable to find a man who could bring stability to the Championship team as more managers took the job but left in quick succession.

Fellow Italian Giuseppe Sannino came in for Zola but he resigned after nine months, making way for Oscar Garcia.

Garcia, the former Brighton and Maccabi Tel Aviv manager, was appointed by Watford at the beginning of September.

However, the Spaniard did not last the entire month as doctors advised him to quit his post at Watford following severe chest pains.

He was hospitalised and required more time to rest.

Billy McKinlay then came in for Garcia but left after just eight days, leaving the Hornets looking for a fourth manager in six weeks. Slavisa Jokanovic is the current boss at promotion-seekers Watford.
