On November 5, I was flying on Ryanair to Madrid when I got a sudden diabetic blip and passed out needing instant medical attention and oxygen.
I have nothing but praise for the Ryanair staff who, along with a Romanian doctor called Elena, who works for MSV Life, and a Spanish nurse called Naomi, who works at Mater Dei Hospital, were in constant attendance making sure that I did not pass out again, keeping me supplied with oxygen and, above all, calming down a groggy and very bewildered patient amazingly.
These are the angels that one meets in one’s life and whom one never forgets. Thank you all. I am most grateful.
