AGIUS. On November 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSETTE (former teacher at Guardian Angel School, Ħamrun), aged 49. She leaves to mourn her loss her father George and his partner Pauline, her brother Christopher and his wife Venus and her nephew David. She had generously offered to bequeath her body to the Anatomy Department of the University of Malta. The funeral leaves the University of Malta today at 1.45pm for St Venera parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm. The body will be bequeathed back to the University of Malta for the purpose of doctor training and research. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Great thanks will go to the surgeon and his team and to the doctors at the Anatomy Department.

BORG. On November 7, at Karin Grech Hospital, FRANCIS XAVIER, widower of Marianna, aged 90. He leaves to mourn his great loss his children Godwin and his wife Marthese, Monica and her husband Godwin, Dr Eileen and Odette, his grandchildren Alberta, Analisa, Stephen and Cristina, his sister-in-law Antoinette Galea, his numerous nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre today at 1.30pm for Our Lady of Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CEFAI. On November 9, at his residence, ANTHONY (Tony), aged 76. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Helen, née Attard, his daughters Johanna and her husband Kris Borg, Audrey and her partner Gordon Craig, the grandchildren he adored, Emma, Bettina and George, his brothers Maurice and Paul, and his sister Carmen, his in-laws, nephews, nieces, family and friends. PACE. On November 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, GUIDO (former director of Pace’s School Uniforms, Sliema), aged 75, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss, his beloved wife Richian, his children Sandro and his wife Roberta, Mariella and her husband Fabio, his grandchildren Michaela, Katrina, Kyra and Federica, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 45am for Nazzarenu parish church, The Strand, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SCHEMBRI. On November 8, at Boffa Hospital, CARMELA (Lina), aged 76. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her daughters Gertrude and her husband Evan Buttigieg and Bernadette and her husband Joseph Borg, her grandchildren Alexander Omar and Nicholas John and cousin Paul Hili, her brothers and sisters and her husband’s brothers and sisters and their families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.45pm for Żurrieq parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment at San Leone Cemetery, Żurrieq. Should anyone desire to give donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, instead of flowers, this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all who have supported and cared for her during the past months.
