The Catholic Action Movement held its general assembly at the sanctuary of Our Lady of Loreto in Għajnsielem.

Diocesan president Antoine Vassallo gave a review of activities over the past year and outlined plans for 2014-2015.

This was followed by a slide feature about St Gianna Beretta Molla, patron of the family and of life, in the presence of her relic.

The activity was concluded with Mass led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech and eight ecclesiastical assistants from various parishes.

In his homily, the bishop referred to his participation in the synod and to the movement’s choice of Love of God and Man as the year’s theme.

Besides Gozitans participants, general president Dennis Buttigieg led a delegation from Malta.
