Perrier has chosen three of the world’s most influential street artists to create nine designs to adorn its iconic glass bottles, plastic PET bottles and the new slim can.

The three distinct personalities are JonOne, Sasu and Kobra.

US-born Parisian artist JonOne revisits the glass bottle series, Sasu from Japan adorns the plastic ones and Brazilian humanist Kobra has worked on the brand’s new slim can.

Together, the trio embody the different facets of the brand: sparkle and audacity for JonOne, elegance and sensuality for Sasu and eccentricity and love of life for Kobra.

About the artists

JonOne: John Perello, known as JonOne, is a pioneer in the world of street art. From his native New York to his adopted Paris, the painter, graffiti artist and sculptor has been upturning all expectations in the world’s most high-end galleries in Tokyo, Monaco, Paris, Geneva, New York, Hong Kong and Brussels. The self-taught man describes himself as an “abstract expressionist graffiti painter”, with his works deeply shaped by movement, colour and energy. Since 1985, JonOne has been painting on canvas, which offers him a way of leaving a lasting mark.

Sasu: Breaking away from the stereotypes of street art, Sasu translates the grace and delicacy of her native Japan in nature-inspired frescoes. Her frequently geometric and colourful works are reminiscent of the mandalas that symbolise Buddhist wisdom. Her signature design features fluid gestures and a harmonious colour palette.

Kobra: The kaleidoscope of colour, emblematic of the style of Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra, is well known. He brings to life forgotten moments in the history of humanity through exuberant, photo-realistic frescoes. The sensitive humanist uses his art to express his wish to “recreate a city that doesn’t exist, so that people who have not lived this epoch can discover it and those who have lived it can rediscover it by looking at the frescoes with nostalgia”.
