Marcia Strassman, the actress who played Rick Moranis’s wife in the Disney hit Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, has died after a long battle with breast cancer.

Strassman, 66, died at her home in Sherman Oaks, California, her sister Julie said. She is also survived by a daughter and a brother.

She had numerous roles on TV and in films during her 50-year career. She played nurse Margie Cutler on the first season of M*A*S*H before her break-out role as Gabe Kaplan’s wife Julie in 1970s sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter.

Her biggest film success was in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and its sequel Honey, I Blew Up the Kid.
