CALLEJA. On October 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, EDGAR, passed away peacefully at the venerable age of 90. He leaves to mourn his loss his nephews, nieces, their families and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.30pm for the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave. FRENDO. On October 26, at Casa Antonia, Balzan, HELEN, née Jones, widow of Carmelo, passed away peacefully, one day after her 97th birthday. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Frederick and his wife Marianne, her daughter Elaine and her husband David Azzopardi, her beloved grandchildren Christopher and his partner Liliana, Nicholas and his wife Lisa, Vanessa and her great-grand daughter Maia. The funeral leaves Casa Antonia on tomorrow, Tuesday at 1.30pm for St Gregory parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.15pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Special thanks goes to all the dedicated staff at Casa Antonia. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SALIBA. On October 26, DORIS, née Campbell, widow of Paul, aged 86, of Paola, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is deeply mourned by her daughters Antoinette and her husband David Degabriele, Marlene and her husband Tony Zammit, Mona and her husband Vince Bellizzi and Sue and her husband Joe Dalli, her grandchildren Owen, Jamie, Stuart and his wife Caroline, Elaine, Jean Paul and his wife Ramona, Kim and her boyfriend Daniel, her great-grandchildren Neil, Dawn and Jacob, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow at 10am at the Paola parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SALIBA. On October 24, LINO, of Victoria, aged 84, passed away suddenly leaving to mourn his loss his beloved wife Maria, née Lanzon. He is also fondly remembered by his five children, Peter and his wife Doris of Canada, Anna and her husband Emmanuel Zerafa, Josephine and her husband Mario Tabone, Lina and her husband Paul Scicluna, and Maryrose and her husband Louis Farrugia of Australia. He is also forever treasured by his eleven grandchildren, their respective families, three great-grandchildren and his brother Rev. Francis Saliba. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital today at 3.45pm for Gozo Cathedral, Victoria, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 4.15pm, followed by interment at St Mary Cemetery. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
