• A dinner for members and supporters of Our Lady of the Lily Musical Society, Mqabba, will be held on November 7 at 8pm at the club’s premises in the village’s main square. • A seminar regarding the new EU food information for consumers regulation 1169/2011 and its impact on producers and consumers will be held at the InterContinental Hotel, St Julian’s, on Thursday at 9am. It will focus on changes to existing legislation on food sold unpackaged and pre-packed food. It is aimed at the business community, especially those in the hospitality and retail industries involved in the importation, production, retail and serving of gluten free food. • The annual Zumba4DTP in aid of Dar tal-Providenza will be held on November 7 in the school hall of San Ġorġ Preca College’s girls’ secondary school (ex-Maria Regina), Blata l-Bajda. Entrance from Milend gate. The event starts at 6.30pm with a zumbatomic class for children aged four to 12. A 90-minute zum­ba session for all will follow at 7pm, during which there will be sports activities and face-painting for children. At a Health Promotion Unit stand a nutritionist will promote healthy lifestyles. A donation of €2 per child aged four to 12 and €5 per adult will be requested. Parking is available in the school grounds. Participants are to bring their own water and wear good trainers and comfortable clothes.
