Nine students at Our Lady Immaculate School, Ħamrun, have recorded two original songs in support of HSBC Bank Malta’s water programme Catch the Drop.

The students were the vocalists for the songs, and lyrics and music were created and performed under the direction of the school’s music teacher Maria Cachia Abdilla in collaboration with Mro Sandro Crippa from Florence. HSBC’s three-year €500,000 initiative, launched in October 2013, aims to raise more awareness regarding Malta’s water scarcity and to stir action for water conservation.

The songs will be launched at the start of campaigns for the current scholastic year.
