A Labour Party delegation led by deputy leader Toni Abela will be visiting China for talks with government officials.

The party said its delegation would have meetings with the Culture Ministry, youth branches and the international department. Topics to be discussed included the political and economic situation in both countries, Malta’s presidency of the European Union in 2017 and cultural activities.

The delegation is expected to leave today.
