Sunglasses at Night: Halloween Edition 2014

Once again, Sunglasses at Night will spook souls and blind them by special effects and décor in the Halloween edition of the popular party.
A newly refurbished Sky Club will house local DJs and many surprises as an extra hour of partying is celebrated when the clocks go back one hour at 3am.

Halloween Boogie Night
Where: Razzett l-Aħmar, Mosta
When: October 31 from 9pm
The darkness and gloom of Halloween meets the bright colours of the 1970s for a night full of wigged skeletons and diva witches dancing under the shining disco ball.
Milk Mi will warm up dancing shoes with a choice of their music and famous tunes from the 1970s and 1980s before the sounds of Boogie take over.
The best ‘Halloween Boogie’ costume will be rewarded.
Parents who brave the night with their kids will be happy to know they can leave them in a safe environment with animators. A welcome drink and finger food will be available all night long.

Halloween Massacre 2014

After last year’s rocking event that brought Goth souls together, Coconut will be holding another spectacle with brain-numbing sounds from classic rock, metal, Gothic and industrial music, haunting guests until the early hours.
Haunted 5: The Halloween Party

Those who dare cross our sea are in for a hair-raising experience as a bolder and eerier ‘Haunted’ is hosted at Gozo’s La Grotta.
Stef B and LEX will go head to head in a riveting battle, taking the decks with the sound salon style and vibe, while Jello & Pepper break some beats and pump up some bass with their house style.
International act Hunzed, the producer behind the masterpiece Sheeta will tantalise the crowd. Tickets cost €8 and dress code is strictly Halloween.

For parents wanting to spend some twisted quality time with the family, After Glow Events are spreading doom over three nights and presenting human statues that give out free candy, a live DJ, a fright maze, an hour-long original show, live singing, dancers, competitions and more.

A Haunted Halloween at the Palazzo
When: October 31 and November 1 from 8pm
Where: Palazzo Abela,Tarxien
The event aims to captivate lost souls with this thrilling combination of exploration and food. The night kicks off with a historical ghost walk around the streets of Tarxien where a licensed guide will be spilling some beans about the intriguing mysteries of the surroundings.
The group will then proceed towards Palazzo Abela, exploring the eerie rooms of the palace, each with a spooky story of its own. Drawn to the cellar, be prepared to be captivated by the smell of a ruby-red concoction which must be consumed to survive the night.
A tantalisingly tasty meal follows in the candle-lit dining room. To avoid agonising foot pain, flat shoes should be worn with Halloween and fancy dress attire. Those attending must be old enough to handle the frightful experience. Those brave enough to venture on this expedition are to meet at Tarxien parish church parvis. Monsters Ball

A fearsome line-up of DJs will entertain guests at the most monstrous event of them all: Gorgobot (Gordon Calleja), Incmode (Carl Schembri) & Laavemuax. All those who come in costume will get a drink on the house. Tickets cost €3 and, in a less monstrous act, all ticket sales will be donated to Puttinu Cares Foundation.
Li’l Monsters Ball

This is an event for all the little monsters who want to be part of an unforgettable monsters ball. The spooky event includes face painting, games, a puppet show, Halloween treats and a rocking meal to fill the little monsters’ tummies. The event is being held in aid of Inspire. The Annual Cosplay Halloween Party
Where: W.A.R.S., Floriana

For those wanting to dress up as their favourite comic or manga character, Wicked Comics is hosting a party especially for cosplayers. The event will be held at the Wargaming and Roleplaying Society headquarters in Floriana. Anyone, cosplayer or not, wanting to have some ghoulish fun is invited to attend.
MaltaComics Expo Halloween Concert 2014

This event, being held at a venue rumoured to be haunted, is part of the MaltaComics Expo 2014. Guests will be entertained by local artists including girl band Cryptic Street and DJ Gianni and his band Rug.
