Club Ritmica will be holding their third international rhythmic gymnastics competition this weekend.
The event, in conjunction with Club GymStars and staged under the auspices of the Malta Gymnastics Federation, will see the participation of 150 athletes hailing from Italy, Croatia, Estonia, Russia, Israel, Lithuania, UK, Latvia, Ireland, Belgium, Canada, South Africa, Cyprus, Sweden and Scotland, besides Malta.
Local gymnasts will also be involved in the opening ceremony along with the Stage Coach Choir.
Members of Club Ritmica regularly take part in international competitions and training camps, both locally and abroad.
With the sport becoming even more popular on our shores, Club Ritmica boast 120 enrolled youngsters within their fold as the numbers are steadily increasing along the years.
At the end of the international competition, Club Ritmica members will take part in a four-day training camp with the contribution of coaches from Lithuania, Bulgaria, Russia and Malta.
