The Malta Cultural Institute is presenting its second concert for the 2014/2015 season on Sunday, November 2, at Le Méridien St Julian’s Hotel and Spa at 7pm.

The concert will feature the Malta University Junior College Orchestra under the direction of Manoel Pirotta. The programme will include music by J.S. Bach, Friedrich Kuhlau and Al Payson, among others.

There will be an interesting intervention by Jean-Pierre Cassar on the marimba and multi-percussion. Also taking part will be singers Glen and Jessica, soprano Marvic Baldacchino and pianist Vittorja Bianco.

A small donation at the door, to help cover some of the expenses of the evening, will be appreciated.

More information may be obtained from the MCI director, Marie Therese Vassallo, by phone on 2133 8923 or 9980 0409, or by sending an e-mail to maltacultinst@gmail.com.
