A Ryanair Boeing 737-800 on a flight to Edinburgh returned to Malta yesterday after the crew detected a problem with the nose wheel.

The aircraft landed safely back in Malta some 70 minutes after departing. A replacement reached Edinburgh with a delay of four hours.
