On Thursday Ryanair announced its GDS partnership with Amadeus was live, giving all Amadeus-affiliated travel agents across Europe access to the budget airline’s route network and tickets.

Before the partnership, customers could only book seats on Ryanair flights though the airline’s website.

“Our new partnership with Amadeus is a significant development for Ryanair and for businesses and customers across Europe,” said Ryanair’s chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs.

Amadeus’ SVP Distribution, Holger Taubmann, added: “We are delighted that Ryanair’s fares are live and bookable in the Amadeus system. Our light ticketing technology ensures the process is seamless and just the same as booking any full service airline through Amadeus.”
