Gozo Bishop Mario Grech has made three new appointments in the Gozo diocese.
Fr Michael Curmi was appointed parish associate at St Margaret parish, Sannat. He was born on May 9, 1982, and ordained priest on June 30, 2007, after which he continued his studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. In 2009, he was appointed vice-rector of the Sacred Heart Seminary. He is also a teacher at the Bishop’s Conservatory secondary school, Victoria.
Fr Dominic Sultana was appointed parish associate at Visitation parish, Għarb. He will also assist the rector of Ta’ Pinu sanctuary. Sultana was born on February 19, 1980 and ordained priest on June 24, 2005. He obtained a doctorate in spiritual theology from the Pontifical Institute of Spirituality in Rome.
Fr Noel Debono was appointed parish associate at the parish of the Immaculate Conception and St Joseph, Qala. He was born on February 11, 1985, and is from the parish of St Peter and St Paul, Nadur. After being ordained on June 13, 2010, he obtained a licence in biblical theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. For the past four years he has been a parish associate at the parish of the Nativity, Rome.
