Video interviews of youths talking about their careers, talents, social life and fashion are being featured on The Zone at www.timesofmalta.com/thezone.
This week, new interviews will be uploaded with digital games developers William Cachia and Jean-Luc Portelli.
Cachia is currently completing his MSc in digital games and is focusing mainly on development and artificial intelligence. The Zone reporter Matthew Cassar meets him to learn more about his passion for digital games.
Cachia also speaks about his recent participation in a competition in Dundee, Scotland, where he was a developer in a team of five working on an android game which was later showcased at an exhibition in Scotland.
Learn more about Cachia’s work on artificial intelligence, his participation with an AI project in Dortmund and why he wants to help the Maltese gaming industry grow more than it is at the moment.
Portelli graduated from his MSc in digital games and set up his own company, the House of Games, which brings people together to play and learn about games.
He is currently developing his own board games and wants to eventually start making digital games.
