In the recent frenzy that gripped our national psyche to clutter the landscape with monuments, statues and other accessories, we have now managed to hide the Valletta bastions from view with an installation that was placed right at the bottom of Ġlormu Cassar Avenue.
Whatever the artistic merits of the piece, I feel it was an act of sheer folly to have it there.
The three-legged horse has gone. The new installation, it seems, is there to stay.
