Qormi vs Floriana (today at 15.00, National Stadium).

Qormi are on a high after ending their winless run with a 4-0 rout of Mosta while Floriana drew 1-1 with Balzan before the international break.

Josef Mansueto, the Qormi coach, must make do without Nigerian winger Frank Temile who received a one-match ban for four yellow cards. Left-back Steve Agius is injured.

Senegalese winger Amadou Samb is suspended for Floriana while wing-back Sacha Borg is injured.

Sliema Wanderers vs Mosta (today at 15.00, Tedesco Stadium).

Stephen Azzopardi starts his second spell as Sliema Wanderers coach as the Blues take on Mosta.

Azzopardi has had little time to work with the team as he officially took over from Alfonso Greco last weekend.

Captain Alex Muscat is recovering from a cruciate operation while Italian defender Stefano Bianciardi complained of a thigh problem in training.

Mosta are desperate for a win after losing their last two games. On the plus side, Montenegrin striker Bojan Kaljevic returns for Mosta after suspension kept him out of the 4-0 defeat to Qormi.

The club added another foreigner to their ranks during the international pause after signing Italian Mattia Piscitelli.

Hibernians vs Tarxien (today at 17.00, National Stadium).

This promises to be a tricky test for Hibernians as derby rivals Tarxien Rainbows demonstrated their attacking prowess in their 3-1 win over Birkirkara. For their part, the Paolites hammered Naxxar Lions 5-1 for their seventh win in a row.

Hibs coach Branko Nisevic has no selection problems. Brazilian defender Rodolfo Soares is expected to make his 100th appearance for the Paolites today.

Spanish midfielder Carlos Hevia Menendez is suspended for the Rainbows while goalkeeper Jonathan Debono is out injured.

Coach Clive Mizzi is also concerned about the fitness of Brazilian Jorge and Manuel Caruana but both are expected to be in the squad.

Żebbuġ Rangers vs Naxxar Lions (today at 17.15, Tedesco Stadium).

This is a direct clash between the bottom two teams who are separated by just one point.

Żebbuġ Rangers, who lost 1-0 to Sliema in their last outing, have acquired Swiss midfielder Carlo Polli who played for Ħamrun Spartans in the past.

John Nwoba picked up a slight injury in training but coach Jesmond Zammit expects him to be fit for the game.

Jesmond Zerafa will take charge of his first match since succeeding Winston Muscat as coach of Naxxar Lions earlier this month.

The former Balzan mentor will be without Angus Buhagiar, suspended, and Pablo Doffo, injured.

Pietà Hotspurs vs Balzan (tomorrow at 15.00, National Stadium).

Balzan will surely not underestimate Pietà Hotspurs after their susprise win over Valletta.

For their part, the high-flying Reds maintained their positive start with a 1-1 draw against Floriana.

Oliver Spiteri, the Balzan coach, has no fresh injury worries. Midfielders Dylan Grima and Godwin McKay are training with the squad after recovering from cruciate surgery but they are still not 100 per cent fit.

Brazilian striker Rafael Xavier, scorer of Pietà’s winner against Valletta, is out after getting a one-match ban.
