The majority of people may think that the most important aspect of choosing eyeglasses or sunglasses is how they look with them. However, other factors are to be considered too, says Celia Melillo, managing dispensing optician at O’Hea Opticians in Gżira.

“Comfort, fit, durability and fashion rank high. Another important point to keep in mind is your prescription. Not all styles are fine for any type of prescription. Choosing the wrong frame for your type of prescription may result in not reaching optimal vision.”

Some may find this a daunting task and require help. O’Hea Opticians have an image consultant specialising in eyewear, who visits the store from Italy to give clients advice. She will be at O’Hea once again on Saturday, October 25, from 3pm onwards.
