The Plaza Hotel, in Sliema, was recently presented with a Platinum Distinction framed certificate and personalised commemorative double magnum of Gran Cavalier Merlot as part of Emmanuel Delicata’s ongoing customer loyalty scheme.

The Delicata loyalty scheme was introduced by the winemaker five years ago in 2009 to reward clients that have proven to be devoted purveyors of Delicata wines for a given number of years.

Delicata has been one of Plaza Hotel’s major wine suppliers since 1989, thus putting the restaurant into the platinum category of clientele.

The presentation took place in the hotel’s recently refurbished conference facility, the Regency Hall, located on the top floor of the hotel.

The hotel’s general manager, Lino Cremona, accepted the award from Delicata representatives alongside colleagues, operations manager Paul Lawrence Attard and marketing manager Robert Attard.

Over the years, Delicata’s customer loyalty scheme has awarded 53 of its clientele with distinctions: two bronze, five silver, 20 gold, 22 platinum and four diamond.
