Video interviews of youths talking about their careers, talents, social life and fashion are being featured on The Zone at www.timesofmalta.com/thezone.
This week The Zone reporter Matthew Cassar meets Rilla Khaled, socio-professor at the University’s Institute for Digital Games, to hear about its work.
The institute offers an MSc in digital games and a master’s in bio-research for students who are leaning towards doing a PhD. It is interested in attracting students with a wide variety of backgrounds.
Watch the interview on The Zone this week to find out more about how the institute shapes its master’s programme and how it goes about bringing its diverse students together under the same umbrella.
The Zone also caught up with young and enthusiastic interior designer Martina Fenech Adami at the Science in the City event in Valletta.
She has a unique profile as an interior designer who specialises in commercial work.
Watch the interview and see why Fenech Adami moved away from residential to commercial projects, what it was like for her to work on designing the interior of a strip club and where she gets her inspirations from.
