DIMECH. On October 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, THERESA (Sina), née Magrin, of Sliema, widow of George, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Renato and his partner Josette, May and her husband Leslie Mirasole, and Marthese and her husband Aurelio Tanti, her grandchildren, David and his wife Anita, Elaine, Gillian and her fiancé Shawn, Christian and his fiancée Marie Claire, her great-grandson Jake, her brothers, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, October 13 at 8am for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GROVES. On October 1, BRIAN, aged 74. Will be sadly missed by his wife Liz and his family in UK. Private burial took place on October 3. Our grateful thanks to the teams at SAU and ITU, Mater Dei Hospital, for their dedication and support.

He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Alice, née Magri, his dearest daughters Veronica, Paula and her husband Fabrizio, and Helena, his loving granddaughters Emma and Hannah, his brother Maurice and his wife Nadette, his in-laws, May, Doris, Elsie, Cecil, Margaret and Mona, and their respective spouses, his other in-laws Margareta and Gill, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St James Capua Hospital today at 2.15pm for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SCICLUNA. On October 6, in Norwich, England, JOHN, days before his 48th birthday. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving partner Angie, his two sons Matthew and Daniel, his parents Lino and Marlene, his brother Paul and his wife Nadine and their two sons Nicholas and Marcus, aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral will take place in Malta. Arrangements will be announced later.
