Practice and qualifying sprint runs on the road circuit between Mdina, Mtarfa and Rabat started today as part of the Mdina Grand Prix.

The paddock area below Mtarfa is open to the public between 4-5pm.

The races take place tomorrow between 9am and 4pm.

An innovation during this year's Grand Prix is the participation of the Aviation Museum's Tiger Moth which is flying over the GP circuit today and tomorrow.

The Grand Prix started with scrutineering last Sunday. A Concours d’Elegance was held yesterday when engine power was replaced by glamour in the popular event at Mdina square.
