PACE BONELLO. On October 8, Lt. Col. Chev. ANTOINE PACE BONELLO, MBE, Knight Commander of the Constantinian Order of St George, widower of Mabel Catherine, aged 93, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Lovingly remembered by his children Christine, Julian and his wife Marguerite, Sandro and his wife Carole and Caroline and her husband Renato Portelli, his grandchildren Francesca and Martin Pursey, Catherine, Sophie, Bethany, Malcolm and Paula Scicluna and Ben, his sister-in-law Blanche, widow of his brother Louis, as well as Miguel and Marcus Bonello and their families, his carer Marites Abalos and many other relatives and friends; members of the 2nd and 3/11th RMA Regiments and the AFM. SCICLUNA. On October 6, in Norwich, England, JOHN, days before his 48th birthday. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving partner Angie, his two sons Matthew and Daniel, his parents Lino and Marlene, his brother Paul and his wife Nadine and their two sons Nicholas and Marcus, aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral will take place in Malta, arrangements will be announced later.

October 12 being the trigesima die of the death of YVETTE JOSEPH, mother of Magalie Ganado, a Mass for her repose is being said next Sunday at 6pm at St Patrick’s church, Sliema.

Prayer meeting

A prayer meeting for the sanctification of priests and for priestly and religious vocations will be held tomorrow at the Archbishop’s Seminary, Tal-Virtù, Rabat with Mass at 9pm followed by adoration.
