Air Malta said today it will keep flying to the Algerian capital throughout winter.
It will be flying to Algiers every Thursday, adding an extra flight on Mondays between October 27 and November 17 and from December 22 to 29. It will retain both flights as of March 2015.
Air Malta said the flights will support and promote commercial links between the two countries and stimulate tourism. The schedule is designed to also offer connectivity to and from other Air Malta destinations beyond Malta.
Air Malta said it was also exploring new destinations away from the traditional European cities and looked at the Maghreb as a region that might offer opportunities for growth.
