E&D, Times of Malta’s flagship food magazine is back with a cosier selection of recipes, interviews and everything that is food or drink related, just in time for the cooler weather.

Chocolate takes the spotlight with a story about De Bondt’s chocolate granita, produced in an artisan coffee shop in Pisa, Italy.

The magazine features local chef Mark McBride, who recently won the silver medal award at the International Salon Culinaire for his chocolate sculpture. E&D goes behind the scenes to find out all about this art.

Vegans can enjoy a selection of tempting recipes by Melissa Mullins, of www.veganfling.com fame and ­– speaking of blogs – readers can check out the E&D team’s favourite international bloggers and their accompanying recipes.

Wine-growing on the sister island keeps becoming more refined and E&D paid a visit to two of the more renowned winemakers to find out more about the passion that goes into the vineyards.
