BONNICI. On October 4, JOHN, aged 81, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his most beloved wife Mangalika, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. CALLEJA. On October 6, VICTORIA, aged 65, of Sliema, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Victor, her daughter Roberta and her husband Patrick Buhagiar, her dearest grandchildren Nicole and Matthew, her sister Antoinette and her husband Alfred Fiorini Lowell, her brother Charles Houlton and his wife Victoria, her sister Elizabeth Cassar and her husband Godwin, her brother Joseph Houlton and his wife Carmen, her in-laws Sylvia and her husband Lawrence Zrinzo, Antoinette and Mario Abela and Monica and Michael Sammut, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on tomorrow, Wednesday, at 2pm for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CILIA. On October 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPHINE, aged 90, of Paola, widow of Joseph. She leaves to mourn her loss her children George and his wife Myriam, John and his wife Dolores, and Robert, his grandchildren Daniela and her husband Bernard, Matthew and his wife Ritienne, Bernadette, Joseph, and Michael Pio, her great-grandchildren, Martina and Anna, her sister Mary, her brother Joseph and his wife Lucia, Carmen, widow of her brother Anthony, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow at 7.45am, for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FARRUGIA. On October 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELO, widower of Filomena, aged 82, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughters Doris and her husband Charles Borg, Carmen and her husband Victor Calvagna MD, his grandchildren Stephany and Adrian Dalli, Bernard and Maria Borg Bileci, Francesca, Rebecca and their respective boyfriends, his adorable great-grandchildren Michela and Matteo, his brother George and his sisters Filomena and Irene, all of Australia, his brother-in-law Emmanuel Schembri and his wife Tessie, and sister-in-law Agnes Vella, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, October 10 at 3pm for Mosta Rotunda parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares Foundation and the Archbishop's Seminary, Tal-Virtù, Rabat, would be greatly appreciated. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rosalie, his sons Stephen and his wife Maria and David and his wife Amy, his grandchildren Christian, Daniel and Nicole, his brothers and sisters, Carmelo and his wife Mary, Godwin and his wife Mona, Mary and her husband John, Catherine and her husband Victor, Jane and her husband Joe, and Lourdes and her husband Joe, in-laws and their respective families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for San Ġwann parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Naxxar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Sisters of St Clare’s Monastery, St Julian’s, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
