Those like me who use public transport to go to Valletta and back, are risking a serious injury if they are not very careful how to walk on the small stretch of pavement coming out of City Gate on the left. To pinpoint the exact place, it is where there is the milk kiosk.

It is a shame that the pavement in question is in such a terrible state just outside our capital city. Is it possible that whoever is responsible cannot spare a small sum to safeguard pedestrians’ safety?

With winter just round the corner, the situation, if not remedied, will be much worse as the holes will be covered with water and less visible. Or, maybe, does it need someone falling and suffering a nasty injury before the pavement is made safe to walk on?
