Ferrari Formula One team’s former principal, Stefano Domenicali, will speak about his F1 experiences during a talk organised by the Malta Group of Professional Engineering Institutions next week.

The man who was named one of ‘The Men of the Year 2012’ by Top Gear magazine is expected to delve into what it takes working at the highest level of F1, the responsibilities, the atmosphere and taking the right decisions.

Contacts with Mr Domenicali, who relinquished his post of Ferrari team boss in April, were made by F1 correspondent Pierre Vella. He took over from Jean Todt in late 2007, becoming team principal the following year.

The talk will be held at the Corinthia Palace Hotel and Spa, Attard, on October 16 at 6.30pm. Those wishing to attend should send an e-mail to evella@camilleriandcuschieri.com by Friday.
