GALEA ZAMMIT. On October 4, CHARLES, widower of Jane née Azzopardi, aged 78 of St Julian’s, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Tania and her husband Paul Bonello, Natalie and her husband Michel Farrugia and Marco and his wife Johanna, his grandchildren Matthew, Martina, Michaela, Roberta, Gianni and Giulia, his sister Doris and her husband Norman Cassar, his beloved friend Mona Caruana, his in-laws Imelda and her husband Joe Attard and Josephine, widow of Charles Azzopardi, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for Balluta parish church, St Julian’s, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Naxxar Cemetery. GAUCI – On October 2, JOSEPH (Wembley Stores Co. Ltd), aged 88, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.45pm for St Theresa Sanctuary, Birkirkara where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.15pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
