October 10 is World Mental Health Day – a unified day of action to celebrate and support people with mental health problems and organisations working in this field.

To commemorate this, the Richmond Foundation is organising these events:

A discussion panel on campus, in collaboration with Betapsi (Psychology Students Association) – ‘Living with Schizophrenia!’ – will be held on Wednesday at KSU Freshers’ Week.

Mro Dion Buhagiar’s Collegium Musicum Choir & Orchestra will also be celebrating World Mental Health Day with a concert in aid of the Richmond Foundation – Mozart’s Great Sacred Music – on Friday at 7.30 pm at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta.

Admission is free, courtesy of the St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation, but donations are invited towards the upkeep of Villa Chelsea, Birkirkara.

Those interested to attend are advised to reserve seats, as places are limited. Guests are requested to refrain from wearing narrow heels. The event will be held under the patronage of President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.

The Richmond Foundation is also holding a seminar themed ‘Children with Meaningful Behaviour’ on October 17 from 8am to 1.30pm at the Dolmen Resort Hotel, Qawra.

Those wishing to participate are asked to register as seats are limited. For reservations and more information, call 2122 4580 or e-mail info@richmond.org.mt.
