In a bid to reduce its carbon footprint and improve the petroleum distribution service offered to customers, Falzon Group has invested in new DAF CF 85 road tankers.

The new vehicles have a carrying capacity varying from 14,000 to 28,500 litres of fuel and are prepared to meet the future requirements of bottom loading and overfill protection.

The road tankers are equipped with an MID (Measuring Instruments Directive)-compliant digital metering system, which ensures accurate delivered quantity of the products. This system is followed by a fine filtering unit to ensure clean products supply and an automatic shut-off system that prevents overfilling of fuel tanks.

The ADR certified vehicles are designed to meet market requirements both on land and in the marine sector. The smaller trucks are specifically designed to supply small quantities to pleasure craft, generators and other small equipment that is difficult to reach.

These characteristics and the new comfortable cab design give the driver excellent manoeuvrability. These state-of-the-art trucks go hand in hand with the group’s efforts of investing in safety and optimising the service of fuel delivery.
