Din l-Art Ħelwa will launch its Golden Jubilee celebrations, due in 2015, with an exhibition by 30 of Malta’s best-known artists, who have donated works to help raise funds for the conservation of patrimony.

The participating artists are Andrew Borg, Anna Galea, Anna Grima, Arnold Sultana, Carol Jaccarini, Claude Gaffiero, Daniel Cilia, David Carrington, David G Curmi, Debbie Caruana Dingli, Ethelbert Perini, Godwin Cassar, Henry Alamango, Janet Grech, Jeni Caruana, Joe Pace Ross, John Borg Manduca, Kenneth Zammit Tabona, Kevin Casha, Lawrence Pavia, Maria Rossella Dalmas, Mark Muscat, Martin LA Scicluna, Maurice Calleja, Noel Attard, Peter Vella de Fremaux, Rachel De Renzy Channer, Rachel Galea, Tonio Mallia and Vince Caruana.

Din l-Art Ħelwa will also orgasnising a talk at the Casino Maltese by Italian conservators Sante Guido and Giuseppe Mantella.

The talk is being held to mark Italy’s presidency of the European Union and is being held in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute.

Titled Arte Italiana – patrimonio Maltese/Art Maltese – patrimonio Italiano, it is being held on October 16 at 8.30pm.

The exhibition is open between October 15 and 18 at the Casino Maltese, Valletta.
