With reference to the story that appeared a few weeks ago, ‘Waterproofing pair back on scene’ it seems that this man (and his father) can get away with everything.

As one of the first consumers who were bitten in this case and having won my case through the consumer tribunal, the police have asked me to give evidence in court.

In the last session at court (September 30), the accused wasn’t even notified. What kind of police work is this? The police say they can’t find him. If you can’t find someone you look for him, don’t you?

The police have powers they are not using. On the other hand, the consumer authority (MCCAA) say that they have done their best by informing the public about him and there’s nothing else they can do.

Whose business is justice here? Why do one family after another keep getting robbed and no one stops this man?

This approach can create a culture where people can get away with things. After coming back home from court it feels more like the law of the jungle than the rule of law.
