George Clooney and his new bride will donate the money made from the sale of their wedding photos to charity, according to reports.

People magazine are featuring the coveted snaps of Hollywood heart-throb George and British barrister Amal Alamuddin in the US, while Hello! have the rights in Europe.

A source told TMZ that the images went to auction to the highest bidder – but with the cash all going to charities George supports.

According to the report, the money will go to several human rights charities, with most channelled to a group George co-founded in 2010, the Satellite Sentinel Project.

The charity monitors militant gangs in the Sudan to warn civilians of their movements.

A source told TMZ: “Every photo in both magazines will be saving a life.”

Oscar winner George tied the knot with Amal in Venice at the weekend in a ceremony attended by numerous A-list names.

And he told Hello! magazine that married life “feels pretty damn great”.
