AirX, a Malta-based private air charter company, is adding a Legacy 600 aircraft to its fleet, bringing the total number of aircraft under the company’s management to eight, with a combined value of $100 million.

The new Legacy 600 will be registered in Malta. Five of the eight AirX aircraft are registered in Malta.

AirX also announced that French football team Paris St Germain will be flying on board the AirX Boeing business jets for their ‘away’ league matches in France.

This is the third major European football club to contract AirX as provider of air charter transportation for their away league matches.

Last month, the company announced a similar agreement with the English Premier League team Southampton and it recently carried French football team St Etienne for league matches.

Chairman John Matthews said that AirX recently flew Angelina Jolie to Malta, as well as Beyonce and her family and the cast of the blockbuster movie The Expandables 3 including Sylvester Stallone.

AirX recently put in place an executive team made up of four chief officers, including a Maltese chief financial officer.
