IT solutions provider Crimsonwing will be representing Malta in the next round of the 2014/15 edition of the European Business Awards.
Over 24,000 businesses from 33 countries across Europe took part. This year a record number of 709 national champions made it through the first round of these awards, sponsored by RSM International.
Crimsonwing, which will be participating in the category of firms with a turnover of up to €25 million, was successful in the first round of the selection process.
For Crimsonwing, the target is to win the Ruban d’Honneur, which would give the company a chance to win the Business of the Year Award.
“The next step will be to see if we can make it to the next round, which besides being an honour for the company, would also boost Malta’s profile,” said Crimsonwing (Malta) managing director, James Bonello.
The European Business Awards, which were organised for the first time in 2007, have been bringing to the fore innovative businesses which effectively combine success with innovation and ethics in the European business community.
Crimsonwing recently announced it had reached its €20 million turnover target for the year ending March 31, a new company record.
