A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Malta and Ghana paving the way for cooperation in the irregular migration sector.

The agreement, signed in New York between Foreign Minister George Vella and his Ghanaian counterpart, also strengthens relations between the two countries in the economic, commercial, industrial, financial, maritime, investment and tourism sectors, among others.
