An investment of €6 million has been made in Malta as a result of the film Clavius, the minister responsible for the film industry, Manuel Mallia said during a visit on the film set at Fort Manoel.

During the meeting, the minister met films director Kevin Reynolds, who was also in Malta in 2002 when he directed the film ‘The Count of Montecristo’. The minister also met the main actors of Clavius including Joseph Fiennes and Tom Felton.

Dr Mallia said the film industry was getting a new lease of life and in a first for Malta, four major productions were currently being filmed. They are Clavius, Andron, By the Sea u DoveKeepers.
