Swieqi Phoenix Handball Club have completed their pre-season preparations for the 2014/15 campaign with a three-day training camp in Sicily. The Swieqi contingent was made up of 28 players, from the men’s and women’s squad, three coaches and four supporting staff. The women’s team had their first taste of international handball after playing friendly games against Sicilian teams while their male counterparts were involved in matches against Italian Serie A sides, gaining commendable results against Palermo Kelona and Aetna Mascalucia.
