On September 8 I wrote to ARMS asking for the installation of a smart meter at my residence, in keeping with the company’s own announcement. To date I have not even received an acknowledgement and am still in the dark about what is to happen and when.

This morning the meter reader visited and told us to get cracking on asking for the new meter.

But when I phoned ARMS Ltd on the freephone number, I was first told I had reached ARMS Ltd (which was what I wanted to do) and then that the number was incorrect! How can a telephone number be “incorrect” when it gets you where you wanted to get?
