I recently had to cut short my mission work in Peru after I slipped and injured my wrist.
After my fall, I had to travel for an hour to have an X-ray and there they refused to do anything to my wrist as my fracture was multiple. I had to travel for eight more hours to have it attended to.
In the end, I decided to come back to Malta where I went straight to Mater Dei from the airport.
I would like to express my thanks to all the medical staff of Orthopedics Ward 3 for their kindness and deference towards me when I was a patient there. I have only words of praise and gratitude for the three days I spent there.
