Local rock band Milk Mi recently released the video Bigger, the last song on their EP Scarlet Coats.
The video was born after Milk Mi were approached by CF Productions to work on a music video together. After some brainstorming, the idea to use personalities who are household names was born.
“The song has a summer feeling, so the first thing that comes to mind is a beach.
“But we wanted something more out of the norm before leading to a beach scene,” a band spokesman said.
The video features familiar faces like that of actor Mario Micallef, local presenter Chris Grech, Bay Radio DJ Dorian Cassar, comedian Chrysander Agius and others.

The video took three days of filming and three months of editing, because of the particular elements that made up the video.
The most difficult part, the musicians agree, was filming the beach scene as on filming day the weather turned out to be rainy and thundery.
“It was difficult to cancel the shoot because our videographer was busy with his own work and we had a lot of extras coming on that day; getting in touch with them all was impossible.”
Luckily, the sun did eventually come out and the video was born.
The video for Bigger was finalised with the help of director and actor Mark Doneo and co-ordinators Martin Duca and Keith Smart.
