CALLEJA. On September 17, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, CAROL of St Julian’s, aged 70, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Patricia née Camilleri, his only daughter Debbie, wife of Damian Mallia, his grandchildren Matthew, Rachel and Alexandra, his sisters Mary, widow of Albert Bugeja, Doris, wife of Anthony Bartolo, and Antoinette, wife of Pravin Pandya, his sisters-in-law Pia, widow of Ġużi Calleja, Pamela, widow of Louis Calleja, and Raelene, widow of Johnny Calleja, his brother-in-law David Brooks, widower of Carmen, his in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and all Flamingo staff. The funeral cortège leaves St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, today at 8.15am for the Carmelite parish church, Balluta, St Julian’s, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CAMILLERI. On September 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, GEORGE, of Birkirkara and residing at Casa Leone Home, St Julian’s, aged 96, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmelina née Vella Zarb, his children Tania and her husband Vincent Mercieca, Myra and her husband Louis Saliba, Patrick and his wife Vivienne, Isabelle and her husband Charles Mifsud, grand­children, their respective spouses, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday at 9.30am, for Casa Leone Home chapel, St Julian’s, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FENECH. On September 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, LINO of Mellieħa, aged 61, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Gaetana, his children Marion and her husband Daniel and Bernard and his fiancée Stephania, his granddaughters Christine and Hailey, his brothers and sisters, in-laws and their families, nephews and nieces other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for Maria Bambina parish church, Mellieħa where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the Ħniena Divina Cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GALDES. On September 16, at Mater Dei Hos­­pital, VICTOR, aged 81, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, née Frendo, his children Dorothy and her husband Phillip Fearon, Claudio and his fiancée Sarah, Mario and his partner Cherrie, his beloved grandchildren, his brother Nunzio and his wife Rose, and sister Cettina, in-laws, their respective spouses and families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, at 8am for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Macmillan Nurses, UK, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
